Add an accessibility statement to your website

The new accessibility issues and statements service lets you track issues and automatically creates an accessibility statement.

If you cannot use this service, you can use the HTML template provided to add an accessibility statement to your website.

To personalise the statement:

• replace the text in square brackets with your own details.
• replace [name of the service] with the name of your website
• check the statement and update any other details to make sure they’re correct for your service

Before you publish your statement

For non-compliant websites, you must list all known accessibility issues in the statement. Read about how to manage accessibility issues in your product or service.

You must also ensure you are applying disproportionate burden correctly.
